Walt Disney CEO Robert Iger told company employees on Monday that they would have to work four days a week from Disney offices.
Walt Disney Co. Chief Executive Bob Iger ordered employees to return to corporate offices four days a week starting March 1. Mr. Iger emphasized the value of personal collaboration in his email to Hybrid employees.
“As I’ve been meeting with teams across the company over the past few months, I’ve been reminded of the tremendous value of being together with the people you work with,” Mr. Iger wrote in the mail.
He added, “As you’ve heard me say many times, creativity is the heart and soul of who we are and what we do at Disney. And in a creative business like ours, there’s no substitute for the ability to connect, observe, and create with peers that physically exist together. As a result, there are opportunities to grow professionally by learning from leaders and mentors,”.
