HS Girl Committed Suicide: A girl committed suicide by cutting the vein of her hand and hanging a rope around his neck in frustration with not being able to fulfill the extreme conditions of his lover. The incident cast a shadow of grief on Senpara area of Jalpaiguri city. What was that extreme condition? According to sources, the student was told by her boyfriend that they would not have a relationship if she did not pass the higher secondary examination.

Meanwhile, after the results of the higher secondary examination came out, it was found that the girl could not pass. In the meantime, the student saw another girl’s picture in the boyfriend’s status. Jalpaiguri East High School student Asha Saha committed suicide out of pride. Such is the demand of his family.

Asha’s father is a rickshaw driver by profession. The financial condition of the family is not very good. Asha was the eldest daughter in her family of three daughters. That Asha has somehow come to study from a young age in the midst of financial difficulties. There was no tutor. Meanwhile, Asha recently met a young boy named Subhankar Biswas, a resident of Belakoba, on Facebook. A love relationship is formed. Everything was fine. But, in the meantime, the family members cannot accept the sudden death of the girl.

According to family sources, Asha tried to commit suicide on Thursday afternoon by cutting the veins of her hands and hanging herself with a noose. Family members rescued her and brought her to Jalpaiguri Medical College Hospital where doctors declared her dead. The police handed over the body to the family after the autopsy on Friday afternoon. Later in the afternoon, her last rites were performed. The family of the dead girl filed a complaint in the name of the young man at the Jalpaiguri Kotwali police station on Friday night.

Molly Sen, aunt of the deceased, said, “The boy had given a condition that she must pass higher secondary. If not, he would not have a relationship. My niece took the exam under stress under this condition. But she could not pass. She was mentally broken after the results were announced on Wednesday. Meanwhile. Niece sees another girl’s picture on that boy’s status. Niece asks who is this girl. The boy says no one. Then my niece asked him to remove the picture but he refused. He said I will not have any relationship with you. After that Asha committed this incident. Uncle Chandan Saha said, “My nIece’s fate today is tragic for that boy. We want an exemplary punishment for that young boy.” Accused Subhankar Biswas was contacted on the phone but he did not pick up the phone. Kotwali police station IC Arghya Sarkar said that based on the complaint, a case has been registered and investigation has been started.
