State BJP Wants To Know Who Had Organized Jai Shree Ram Slogan Shouting At Victoria Memorial
The slogan ‘Joy Shree Ram’ aimed at Mamata Banerjee at the Netaji Jayanti function at the Victoria Memorial last Saturday was completely ‘planned’. Although he has openly taken an ‘aggressive’ stance on the incident, many are admitting in private discussions that the incident has harmed the party as a whole. On the day of the incident, several leaders of the party said inside the party that some leaders and workers had to suffer due to their ‘indiscretion’.
After that the investigation started about that incident. The autopsy revealed that the incident was not “spontaneous” but was “planned”. The names of Soumitra Khan and Shankudev Panda, two leaders of the State Youth Front, came up to find out who had made that plan.
Debate has started all over the country over the incident of that day. The manner in which Mamata left the podium without giving a speech protesting the incident has reached a different level. Significantly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not spend a word on the incident in his more than half-hour speech. The aim of the state BJP was to propagate the Prime Minister’s speech on the occasion. But on the contrary, the part of the show where Mamata is leaving the podium in protest has gone viral on social media. However, after that he sat on the stage all the time showing courtesy.
According to state BJP sources, the incident was planned by the party’s youth wing. MPs Soumitra and Shankui had organized a group of activists to give the slogan at the event. Which was not known to the state leadership! Soumitra, the state president of the BJP Youth Front, was called several times on Monday but did not respond. Shankudev, vice-president of the organization, claimed that the incident was not ‘organized’. His statement, “Is the sound of ‘Joy Sriram’ banned in Bengal or India?” Is it true that the activists of Juba Morcha raised that sound that day? What is part of the state BJP saying? Shankudev replied, “I don’t know who gave the sound. If anyone speaks of youth front separately, it is propaganda. There was no organizational thinking behind it. And saying ‘Joy Sriram’ is not a sin!
However, a BJP leader who was present at the Victoria function on Saturday said, “Those who were sitting at the very front of the stage did not make that sound. The state’s Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leadership is also not looking favorably on the incident. According to the Sangh, it is not wrong to sound ‘Joy Sriram’. But the importance and seriousness of the ceremony of that day, it was not desirable to give any sound. An official of the union claimed, “Those who have done this are harming the organization at all. People are getting the wrong message about Hindutva. ”
However, despite such questions being raised within the party and the Sangh family, the BJP leaders have taken a policy of attacking Mamata on the issue. On the day of the incident, state party spokesperson Shamik Bhattacharya objected to the voice being raised, but later Dilip Ghosh and Kailash Vijayavargis started retaliating by silencing him. On Sunday in Krishnanagar, Dilip said, “Every day I stand on the street and see a black flag. But I never responded to it. I say, you have no power to do more than that. “Kailash also tweeted that day.
Despite all this, there is still a thought of state leadership. How will the Prime Minister or the central leadership take the matter! In the words of one state leader, “From the formation of the Netaji Jayanti celebration committee to the Victoria celebrations – Modiji wanted to send a message to everyone.” But that melody is cut to the sound of ‘Joy Sriram’. That is what has poured lime in the milk. ”Incidentally, Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s state visit is ahead. He will also hold an organizational meeting with the state leadership. Thoughts and speculations have also started in the BJP camp about what he will say in this regard.
