The list of Google services that were shut down included Gmail, YouTube, Google Drive, Google Doc, Play Store, Google Meet, Hangouts and many more.

Why is this the case?  According to Google sources, these services were halted due to the crash of their global server.  After the service is off for about an hour, it is normal to slow down by 6 pm.
