Petrol Price In Delhi: The Delhi government has given great relief to the common man from the inflation of petrol. On December 1, 2021, the state government of Delhi reduced VAT on petrol in the capital. Following the Kejriwal government’s decision, petrol in Delhi will be cheaper by about Rs 8, after which the price of a liter of petrol in Delhi will be Rs 95.97 per liter. The new price of petrol will be effective from midnight today.

Decision taken by Kejriwal’s cabinet meeting:
The state government took this decision in the cabinet meeting on Wednesday. During the meeting, Kejriwal reduced VAT on petrol from 30 per cent to 19.40 per cent. From tonight, those who will buy petrol will be able to buy petrol at a lower price of 8 rupees.

For the last 27 days, the state oil companies have not changed the price of petrol and diesel. Petrol and diesel prices have risen sharply across the country since the beginning of this year. The central government had reduced excise duty on petrol before Diwali, after which petrol was reduced by Rs 5 and diesel by Rs 10.

Today, the price of petrol in Delhi was Rs 103.97 and the price of diesel was Rs 86.67 per liter. The new petrol price will be applicable in Delhi from midnight today. From now on, petrol will be available in Delhi at Rs 8 less.
