Actor Soumitra Chatterjee infected with Novel Corona virus. His COVID-19 report came positive on Tuesday morning. He was admitted to Bellevue Hospital. For now, his condition is stable.
The veteran actor has been reported to be ill for the past few days. He was recently examined for corona on the advice of doctors. That morning the report came positive. However, the bed was booked in his name in Bellevue yesterday.
In the Corona situation, shooting was stopped in Tollywood for the last few months. Soumitra Chatterjee recently returned to shooting after being warned. He was working on a documentary about himself. He completed the shooting of ‘Abhiyan’ directed by Parambrata Chatterjee before the Corona Crisis.
Soumitra is not the first, Novel Corona has set foot in Tollywood more than once in the last few months. After becoming a mother, Koel Mallick contracted corona. Her husband Nispal Singh, father Ranjit Mallick and mother Deepa Mallick also became infected. Director Raj Chakraborty was also attacked by Corona. He is healthy at the moment.
