According to all the predictions, the movie has been setting one income record after another. KGF 2 broke the records of ‘Dangal’ and ‘Bahubali’ just 7 days after its release.
According to Indian cinema box office analyst Taran Adarsh, ‘KGF2’ has entered the Rs 250 crore mega-club in the shortest time in Hindi. Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ took 10 days to earn Rs 250 crore. Which broke the new record of superstar Prabhas ‘Bahubali 2’. The movie reached the 250 crore club in just 7 days. This time, just a day before, that is, in just 7 days, Yash’s ‘KGF 2’ reached the club of 250 crores. No other Kannada movie in Hindi has been so successful before. Since the release of the movie on April 14, however, the triumph of KGF. From the very beginning, the movie has been making a storm at the box office. One record after another is breaking.
Meanwhile, in global revenue, ‘Bahubali 2’ could not be defeated, but ‘Bahubali 1’ has already surpassed ‘KGF 2’. The movie has earned Rs 6 crore in six days. Analysts expect it to enter the multi-billion dollar club in the second week and touch producer SS Rajmouli’s ‘Bahubali 2’ and ‘RRR’.
Incidentally, ‘KGF: Chapter 1’ was released in 2016. The Hindi version of the Kannada language movie, although not very successful at that time, gave rise to discussion. Since then, the audience was looking forward to the second episode. ‘KGF 2’ is directed by Prashant Neel. Yash has played the central role in it.
