India Vs New Zealand Series: After the poor performance in T20 World Cup, the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) is now preparing Indian cricket team for the upcoming New Zealand series. BCCI’s new (T20) captain Rohit Sharma‘s Team India will play a T20 series against the Kiwis at home from November 17. The BCCI has announced India’s 16-member squad for the upcoming T20 series against New Zealand. Former captain Virat Kohli is not in the squad. Jaspreet Bumrah, Rabindra Jadeja and Mohammad Shami have also been rested.
Following the announcement of the squad, the board of Sourav Ganguly announced Rohit Sharma as the new T20 captain of India. From now on, Lokesh Rahul will be the vice-captain of India in T20.
The first match of the series will be played on November 17 in Jaipur. The remaining two matches of the series will be played on November 19 and 21 in Ranchi and Kolkata.
