Side Effects Of Coronavirus Vaccine In India
After Saturday, vaccinations have been given in different parts of the country on Sunday. About four and a half hundred of them had side effects, according to the Union Ministry of Health. However, the condition of none of them is serious. In Delhi, on the other hand, a man was admitted to hospital in a critical condition after being vaccinated.
In a press conference in the evening, the Union Ministry of Health said that a total of 16,000 front-line covid fighters were vaccinated against corona in 553 centers across the country on Sunday. With this, about 2 lakh 24 thousand people got the dose of vaccine in the country. Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Manipur and Tamil Nadu were vaccinated on Saturday.
However, in the last two days, a total of 448 side effects have been officially documented, according to the Union Ministry of Health. Of these, 51 had side effects in Delhi. However, the Delhi health minister said a 22-year-old man, a security guard at the hospital, had been admitted to the hospital’s intensive care unit in a critical condition.
The health ministry said on Sunday that there were specific guidelines on how to deal with any physical problems after the vaccination. Doctors, nurses and health workers have been trained accordingly. Symptoms of side effects include a slight swelling at the injection site, a slight drowsiness or a tendency to allergies.
A few people had to be hospitalized. The ministry has identified them as ‘serious’. Three of the 448 were hospitalized. Two of them have been released from AIIMS and Railway Hospitals in Delhi. Another is under observation at Ames Rishikesh Hospital.
The Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine Covishield was produced in India by the Serum Institute. The Indian company has developed ‘Kovacin’. India has approved the use of these two vaccines on an emergency basis.
