Hindu persecution in Bangladesh: The people of the minority Hindu community in Bangladesh are currently living in great panic. Statues of Goddess Durga have been smashed and Hindus killed in various districts of Bangladesh including Comilla. The Bangladeshi Muslim fundamentalist organization does not stop here.

Muslim fundamentalists have started burning Hindu houses in the dark of night. This heinous incident took place in Rangpur district of Bangladesh. Even though the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina has announced severe punishment for the criminals, the Muslim fundamentalists cannot be stopped. The people of the Hindu community in Bangladesh are suffering from communal violence.

All the leading political parties, social and civic organizations have come out in condemnation of the recent fundamentalist violence in Bangladesh. Many organizations took to the streets on Saturday to protest. Prominent people of Bangladesh have also spoken out on social media demanding that the conspirators be brought to justice.

Meanwhile, a half-day hartal has been observed in Chittagong on Saturday. Police and locals, irrespective of religion, resisted when a group of miscreants came to attack the mandapa of Jatramohan Sen Hall in the city on Friday. Miscreants turn their backs. The idol remains intact despite some damage to the mandapa. Ruling party Chittagong leader and former mayor AJM Nasiruddin rushed to the spot after receiving the news of the attack. On Friday, a procession of fundamentalists in Dhaka did not spread the riot. Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said, “Police have arrested about 100 people after a preliminary investigation. The heads of this conspiracy will be caught in a day or two. ” Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has assured that “the perpetrators will be punished in such a way that they will not even think of doing it a second time.” Meanwhile, a man injured in the attack in Chandpur died on Saturday. The body of a man was found from a pond in a temple in Noakhali on Saturday. In the last 4 days, the number of deaths due to radical violence in 12 districts of Bangladesh has risen to six. Among them are three miscreants killed in clashes with police.
